Nice review!

Yeah, this album kicks major butt! Probably the best since Train of Thought.

Shattered Fortress is the final song Mike wrote regarding AA. I see a special CD coming soon from Mike.

The backstage thing was very cool. We once paid the price and visited with them in S.F. after they played the Train of Thought gig. I think it was the same concert that Live in Budukan was recorded from. Probably the best DT show I’ve ever seen!!!

Hey man nice review.

I got the album yesterday and have so far only listened to it once. I agree with you – it is SO much better than Systematic Chaos, but I didn’t really like how The Shattered Fortress brought nothing new. It was essentially every part of the AA suite put into one song, which is fine, but I would have liked some newer material for the finale… Maybe I just need to listen to it a little more… haha
